I have always loved photography. I have taken pictures on every vacation, starting with my 6th grade field trip to Boston, New York and Washington, DC. I remember trying to find my subject while looking down into my first Brownie box camera. I could never progress much beyond that until later, as adult, I graduated to my first DSLR camera. In 2017, I was diagnosed with cancer and my 20-year career as a hospital chaplain skidded to a halt while I underwent 18 surgeries to combat the cancer and the physical results of that battle. I have won the battle, am cancer-free, and have finally regained my strength and health. Now in retirement, I can do what I always wanted to do, become a professional photographer. I have studied with Tim Shields and Serge Ramelli, two international, award-winning photographers. I now have top-of-the-line equipment and several trips taken and planned and I am delighted to share some of my recent photographs with you.
